Anyone else's Kobo duplicating text/pages/chapters?

Since the upgrade that allows my original Kobo to now read newspapers/magazines (plus whatever ‘improvements’ its made to the book reader) my books have had repeating chunks of text in the pages and repeating chapters in the Table of Contents. PLUS when I go looking for books in Kobobooks.com I find that the book blurbs/descriptions are doubled as well. I’ve deleted books out and reinstalled them and that fixes the text but does not fix the chapter list in the ToC. I don’t know what I’m going to do about the 100 free books, which I want to keep.

Anyone else experiencing this with their original Kobo since the major upgrade?
